Tomorrow is Earth Day. Do you know what that is? It's a special day for our planet. We call our planet Earth. π
On Earth Day, people help the Earth. How? They pick up trash. They plant trees. They turn off lights they don't need.
Earth Day started a long, long time ago. It started in 1970. That is over 50 years ago! A man wanted people to take care of the Earth. So he picked a day. April 22. And now the WHOLE WORLD celebrates it!
You can help too. Here are three easy things: π± Pick up trash at a park. π‘ Turn off the light when you leave a room. πΆ Walk instead of riding in a car.
Even small things help. You are never too young to help the Earth!
